Satin Pothos,
Scindapsus pictusPLANT CARE GUIDE
Placement
Place your Satin Pothos in a room that gets a medium amount of natural light, or even in an office or bathroom that gets low light. Rotate the plant occasionally to encourage even growth.
Light Requirements
The Satin Pothos needs medium to bright indirect sunlight, but will also do well in low light. Avoid direct sunlight.
Watering Needs
The Satin Pothos prefers her soil to be on the dry side. Water when the top several inches of soil has dried out. When watering, water the plant with fresh water lightly and slowly from above, allowing water to soak through to the roots, then tip out any excess water. Water moderately and infrequently.
Temperature Preferences
Prefers warmer temperatures between 65°F - 85°F. Cold temperatures should be avoided.
Humidity Tolerance
The Satin Pothos will do well with standard indoor levels of humidity, about 40% - 60%, but prefers slightly higher humidity levels.
Repotting Needs
The plant can live happily in the provided pot for up to a year. Check if the plant is ready to be repotted by touching the soil and seeing if it has become loose, or if the roots have become overgrown. Repot using a rich, well-draining soil. When your plant is ready to be repotted, you can follow our simple how-to guide.
Unhealthy Plant Signs
Browning or yellowing leaves may be a sign that the plant is too cold or the air is too dry. Yellowing leaves or black spots on the leaves indicate over-watering.
Toxicity
If ingested, may cause a harmful reaction in people and pets.
