Rojo Congo Philodendron
The Rojo Congo Philodendron is one of the easiest plants to care for. She will do well in just about any room. Place her next to a bright sunny window or even in a dimly lit room. Rotate the plant occasionally to encourage even growth.
The Rojo Congo Philodendron will thrive in bright, indirect light but will be perfectly fine in extremely low levels of sunlight as well. Avoid placing her in direct sun, as the rays can scorch the leaves.
Water the plant when the top inch of soil is dry. Water moderately and regularly so that the soil is consistently moist, but not soggy.
Prefers warmer temperature between 76°F - 86°F. Cold temperatures should be avoided.
Does well with standard indoor levels of humidity, about 40% - 60%.
The plant can live happily in the provided grow pot for up to a year. Check if the plant is ready to be repotted by touching the soil and seeing if it has become loose, or if the roots have filled the bottom of the pot. Irrigate the pot in order to loosen the soil before transplanting. Repot using a rich, well-draining soil. When your plant is ready to be repotted, you can follow our simple how-to guide.
