PLANT CARE GUIDE
Light Requirements
The Orange Star needs bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight should be avoided.
Watering Needs
Water moderately so that the soil remains damp, not soggy. Water when the surface becomes slightly dry. When watering, water the plant with fresh water lightly and slowly from above, allowing water to soak through to the roots, then tip out any excess water. Dry soil should be avoided.
Temperature Preferences
Does well at temperature between 65°F - 70°F. Cold temperatures should be avoided. Avoid placing the plant near cold drafts as well as air conditioning or heating vents.
Humidity Tolerance
Requires higher levels of humidity, around 75% or above. If the air around the plant is too dry, use a humidifier or occasionally mist the plant to increase humidity.
Repotting Needs
The plant can live happily in the provided pot for 2-3 years. Check if the plant is ready to be repotted by touching the soil and seeing if it has become loose, or if the roots have become overgrown. Toxicity
If ingested, may cause a harmful reaction in people and pets. Handling of sap may also cause allergic reactions.
