Placement
Place your Money Tree in a room near a sunny window. Rotate the plant occasionally to encourage even growth.
Light Requirements
Medium to bright, indirect light. Keep out of direct sunlight as the foliage can burn.
Watering Needs
Water moderately so that the soil remains damp, not soggy. Water when the surface becomes slightly dry. When watering, water the plant with fresh water lightly and slowly from above, allowing water to soak through to the roots, then tip out any excess water. Dry soil should be avoided.
Temperature Preferences
Does well at or slightly warmer than room temperature (between 65°F - 75°F). Cold temperatures or rooms with strong drafts should be avoided.
Humidity Tolerance
Prefers higher levels of humidity, around 75% or above. Use a humidifier or occasionally mist the plant to increase humidity.
Repotting Needs
The plant can live happily in the provided pot for up to a year. Check if the plant is ready to be repotted by touching the soil and seeing if it has become loose, or if the roots have become overgrown. Repot using a rich, well-draining soil, or an equal mix of potting soil, perlite and sand.
